Alex Scott is a second year medical student and a MSSP student-scholar; he worked with Rob McCullumsmith and Jennifer McGuire on a summer project in 2015, and his resulting poster on Chronic Glutamate Dysregulation in the Lateral Fluid Percussion Injured Rat Brain was one of the two winners in the Basic Science category of the UCCOM 5th Annual Research and Service Symposium held last November.
