We are the Department of Biomedical Informatics at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. We represent one of the nation's oldest medical colleges and are affiliated with a top pediatric hospital/research institution. Our researchers are experts in bioinformatics, clinical informatics and genomics and use state of the art informatics methods and technologies to solve pressing health problems. Through our Graduate Programs and together with our affiliated groups in Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, Department of Environmental and Public Health Sciences and Graduate faculty from many other departments at the University of Cincinnati, we are educating new crop of Biomedical Informatics Scientists.
