The College of Medicine will hold its annual Honors Day celebration at 10 a.m., Saturday, April 22 at Cincinnati Music Hall.

It is expected that 169 students will participate in the Honors Day ceremonies this year. Five of the students also will receive doctoral degrees as part of the Medical Scientist Training Program. One student, Emily Warner, will become the first graduate of the college’s Doctor of Medicine and Master of Public Health (MD/MPH) degree program. 

This will be the 205th commencement exercises since the College of Medicine was founded in 1819. Its first commencement was in 1821 with seven graduates.
