Dr. Krushna Patra, Assistant Professor in the COM Department of Cancer Biology, has been awarded an NCI-R37-MERIT award from the National Cancer Institute/National Institutes of Health. The grant entitled, “Investigating the molecular mechanisms of growth in GNAS mutant pancreatic cancer" is initially awarded as a 5-year R01 with the opportunity for an extension of up to two additional years as part of the MERIT grant support for Early Stage Investigators.
