An alumnus of the UC MSTP, Dr. Nathan Evanson MD, PhD, received the CCHMC 2022 "Hidden Gem Award."

“Nate Evanson is the definition of a “hidden gem” and has been for as long as I’ve known him through residency and now as colleagues. Never the one to seek out accolades, he is always the one to step up to cover a clinic, have an extra student in clinic, cover call, the list goes on and on. He makes my life so much easier knowing that he has mine (and everyone else’s back). He is adored and respected by all members of our multidisciplinary team and our division is truly better because of him. His calm presence and ability to see all sides of the picture brings us together during many of our decisions as a division.
