MSTP Student, Jake Stevens, won the 2021 Midwest Society for Pediatric Research (MSPR) Student Award for the most outstanding abstract presentation by a trainee at a level prior to postgraduate training or residency.  Jake's abstract was on the "Balance between protective and pathogenic immune responses to pneumonia in the neonatal lung enforced by gut microbiota."
