Dr. Patra, Assistant Professor in the Department of Cancer Biology, has been awarded an NIH K22 from the National Cancer Institute. This NCI Transition Career Development Award entitled "Investigation of the mitochondrial function in GNAS mutant neoplasms," will comprehensively analyze mitochondrial function and state in pancreatic cancer.
