On December 17, 2020, Cincinnati's WKRC local news station reported that medical school applications have skyrocketed during the pandemic.  There was an 18% increase nationally, and UC experienced even higher increases than the national average!

The UC College of Medicine received approximately 20% more medical school applications, and the UC MSTP received a 13% increase since the previous year.
