The McCullumsmith laboratory sent postdoc Sinead O'Donovan and graduate student Courtney Sullivan to SfN 2016 in San Diego this year where they both presented posters on molecular abnormalities in schizophrenia. Sinead presented a poster titled "Glutamate transporter expression in schizophrenia" while Courtney presented work on "Abnormal Lactate Shuttle Enzyme Activity in Schizophrenia." The conference served as a great platform to meet collaborators, discuss new data in relevant areas of research, and take home great ideas for ongoing projects in the laboratory.
