Ohio Miami Valley Society for Neuroscience: Neuroscience Day 2016

Congratulations to Dr. Sinéad O'Donovan for winning first place in the post-doctorate category for best poster at the OMV-SfN Neuroscience Day 2016 conference! Dr. O'Donovan's poster entitled: Altered Expression of Adenosine System Components in Pyramidal Neuron and Glial Cell Populations in Schizophrenia can be found on our Latest News page. As a whole, the McCullumsmith Lab presented eight posters pertaining to our current work at  Neuroscience Day 2016 here at the University of Cincinnati. Collectively, members of the McCullumsmith lab presented an array of research pertaining to: the role of glutamate transporters in schizophrenia; regional PSD-95 interactome protein levels in schizophrenia;  and the role of glutamate and serine-threonine kinase in traumatic brain injury. Congratulations to Dr. O'Donovan and a big thank you to all who came out and were involved in the Neuroscience Day festivities!
