Dr. Patra, Cancer Biology assistant professor, has been awarded a 2020 Career Development Award from the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network. The two year grant entitled “Delineating Oncogenic Circuitries of GNAS Mutant Pancreatic Neoplasms” will gain a more complete picture of mutant GNAS-regulated proteins involved in gene expression and metabolic processes that support tumor growth in pancreatic cancer.
