Pinney, Straughn Discuss Breast Cancer Event on WVXU's 'Cincinnati Edition' at 1 p.m.

Daily environmental factors, such as chemical exposure through food and products, play a role in a woman's likelihood of developing breast cancer. The University of Cincinnati Center for Environmental Genetics and the Breast Cancer Registry of Greater Cincinnati board are hosting a Saturday, March 5, event, “Looking Upstream for Breast Cancer Health”, to discuss environment and breast cancer. It takes place from 9 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. on the UC Reading Campus, 2189 E. Galbraith Road. Explaining how environmental factors affect breast cancer on WVXU-FM’s Cincinnati Edition at 1 p.m. today are Susan Pinney, PhD, UC Department of Environmental Health,  UC Center for Environmental Genetics, Cincinnati Cancer Center, UC Cancer Institute, along with Victoria Straughn, UC Department of Environmental Health.
