The UC Board of Trustees has approved a new name for the Department of Environmental Health. Effective Feb. 25, the department’s name became the Department of Environmental and Public Health Sciences.

The name change solidifies the commitment of the faculty to the missions of research and teaching and establishes the department as the center of public health education and studies within the University of Cincinnati. The department is home to the Master of Public Health (MPH) Program, led by Glenn Talaska, PhD, MPH division director, and Charles Doarn, MPH program director and professor.
