Mario Medvedovic, PhD, professor and director of the Division of Biostatistics and Bioinformatics in the Department of Environmental Health, has been named a Biomedical Research Exemplar by the Professionalism and Integrity (PI) in Research program. The PI Program is offered through the Center for Clinical and Research Ethics at Washington University in St. Louis, in collaboration with Saint Louis University faculty.  

Medvedovic is a principal investigator for the NIH-funded Big Data to Knowledge (BD2K-LINCS) Perturbation Data Coordination and Integration Center, and he contributes to numerous high-impact, interdisciplinary collaborative projects.
