Andrew Maier, PhD, associate professor in the Department of Environmental Health, has been named a fellow of the American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA). AIHA fellows are nominated by their peers, recognizing individuals for their exceptional contributions to the industrial hygiene profession. Industrial Hygiene is the science of recognition, evaluation and control of occupational health hazards. AIHA is one of the largest international associations serving occupational and environmental health professionals.
