The American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA) Occupational and Environmental Epidemiology Committee has named its Best Student Poster Award the Carol Rice Award, recognizing the accomplishments and commitment to teaching of Carol Rice, PhD, professor emerita in the Department of Environmental Health in the UC College of Medicine. The award was announced at the 2016 American Industrial Hygiene Conference and Exposition (AIHce) held in Baltimore.
